SupraNet Communications, Inc. acquires Mad City Broadband
SupraNet Communications, Inc. has completed the purchase and acquisition of Mad City Broadband. Mad City Broadband, a member of the Metropolitan Unified Fiber Network (MUFN), specialized in high-speed wireless and fiber optic networks, including operating and managing a municipal wireless network in the City of Madison and the Dane County Airport.
Effective January 1, 2013, Mad City Broadband will be renamed SupraNet Communications, Inc. and all current services and clients will be transferred to SupraNet accordingly.
With the acquisition of Mad City Broadband, SupraNet can now provide small and medium sized businesses more cost-effective and reliable high-speed wireless and fiber optic Internet solutions. SupraNet is also able increase their geographical penetration and diversify their current scope of services while continuing to offer competitive prices backed by unmatched customer service.
