At Park Lofts, Affordable Housing Comes with a Connection

MADISON, Wis., Oct. 7, 2026 —When residents of Park Lofts move in, connecting to the Internet will be one less thing on their to-do lists.
SupraNet Communications, Inc., a Madison-owned Internet service provider, partnered with Julian Walters, founder of Eminent Development Corporation, to bring move-in-ready Internet to the entire residential community.
Through a bulk Internet model, developers can provide Internet access for tenants at a fraction of the cost of an individual connection. Additionally, residents can connect as soon as they move in, without the hassle of scheduling an installation or setting up individual service.
“Park Lofts is about more than providing affordable housing. It’s about giving residents the resources and opportunities they need to thrive,” said Julian Walters, founder of Eminent Development Corporation. “Having reliable, affordable Internet available from day one removes one more barrier for our residents, whether they’re looking for a job, continuing their education or simply staying connected to the people who matter to them.”

All 44 units in Park Lofts are income-restricted to 60% or below of the area median income. Eleven units are reserved for children aging out of foster care. Additionally, caseworkers and career counselors work onsite and the development hosts job training workshops and other skill-building opportunities.
Park Lofts joins 11 other affordable housing developments served by SupraNet including Bayview, The Rise, and Merchant Place, another recently opened development on Odana Road. They will also provide the Internet for Our Triangle, a New Year Investment development.
“We believe in doing our part to make Madison a better place to live,” said Bryan Chan, founder and CEO of SupraNet. “For us, that means making the Internet more accessible. We’re honored to work with developers like Eminent, who share that commitment to our community.”
